We are going to our first ever show and have been busy learning how to walk with poise and elegance in the show ring, except Lady Alice who needs further training. The British Alpaca Futurity will be the first major show of 2012 featuring alpaca halter classes, an international fleece show, special ‘Introduction to Alpacas’ presentations for visitors, trade stands presenting alpaca products, workshops and seminars on textiles, alpaca health and genetics. The show is at the NEC 16th and 17th March 2012, click on the Futurity banner above for further details.

Still waiting, hopefully the good weather will move things along. Faith is looking very big - though I have been expecting to see our last cria of the season every day for the last week! At last the hay has been cut and is drying nicely in the sun I was beginning to think it was never going to be cut.
